Fragile Face Lay Flat published by Venetia Scott and Sion and Moore to accompany Scott's exhibition of the same name. The book presents all the works from Scott's new series, which she created by cropping into images drawn from her archive of fashion editorials and campaigns, so that only the faces of the models remain.

The resulting portraits stand apart from their original context, drawing attention to the strong and distinctive gaze of each girl. They are beautifully eerie, looking as if they might have been taken from missing person files. The face of each girl captivates the viewer but stops short of telling us everything we might want to know.
